The Pretty Things were a U.K. band credited with inspiring the Rolling Stones and David Bowie. In fact both Keith Richards and Mick Jagger were in Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys along with Pretty Things guitarist Dick Taylor.
The Pretty Things are known primarily for their raw approach to blues-based rock and their unruley stage behavior. The music video of "Baby I'm Your Man" is one of the most chaotic videos I've ever seen. I thought this video reached a climax when the Blond Hottie was dragging the goat in front of the band but it got better when the freaked out, cymbal banging drummer tipped the cart holding all the adoring female fans. Unfortunately, You Tube removed this one, hopefully it will return and I'll add it to this thread.
