i came across this yesterday for $80 €65 in the salvation army store. in very good shape, pickguard missing.

didn't buy it, i really need to move house first.

anyone ever hear the name? cheapo plywood thing but attractive.

well thanks for taking a shot at it but i see no exact similarity to anything that's been suggested by you or on other knowledgable sites.

i think yes probably german, but that's only because we see a lot of german guitars.

i have a feeling this one is going to remain a mystery for a while. maybe in years to come someone somewhere will find the true origins of this name.

i still really feel guilty about not buying it, but my wife woulda killed me.
