			Thanks for your replies.  Extended research has shown that the name Galiano has been used by several luthiers.  Some models were designed for the Oscar Schmidt Co. in the early 1900's and were labeled A. Galiano.  Mine is an asian copy of the Martin D28 designed in the 1940's, according to some experts,  and distributed by the Meisel Music Co. in NJ.  Although it is beautifully finished, with a mahogany body and neck, spruce top and ebony frets and bridge,  it's value is probably $100.
