Nice looking guitar! How does it sound?According to Jedistar's site, "Oval label appears to be from the late 1970s/early 1980s". Scroll down to "Morris"





The company still exists and you can contact them. Send them the serial number.They may be able to give you the specific year.

I have two Morris acoustics...an M-2001...all solid wood, and an S-61...solid top and back...both are real nice. Morris has a great reputation for their high end models in Japan and the old ones have become collectable. I have quite a few catalogs but they`re from the last 10~12 years.
Morris are not rare in Japan, I see lots on line all the time and plenty from the `70s...I know because they always seem to have a date on the label, later models not always.

Can any one help me find a case like this? I'd love to find the correct Morris case if I could but I'll settle for any 70s or latter MIJ type case.
