conqueror acoustic

I see a few things about the Conqueror electrics but not much on the acoustics. I have a Conqueror CS-27 acoustic I believe to be around late 60s to early 70s. Except for the bridge it appears to be a Gibson Hummingbird copy. It is by far the nicest sounding acoustic I've ever owned and or even played. I have friends in bands that love playing it. From what I read, I take it that it is made by Bruno, but it doesn't say Bruno anywhere on it. It sounds way better than my Fender 12 string does. It has a rosewood fretboard with pearl inlays. A friend's Dad bought this in the 70s from a high school that was selling all the band equipment in a yard sale. I would just like to find out more about the Conqueror line of acoustics. Conqueror was one of the brand names used by the Bruno company, an importer and distributor.Ventura is another of the brand names they used. They imported guitars from Japan. They didn't manufacture anything.Guitars were made at various factories. The Conqueror brand name also appears on lap steel guitars,which were actually made by Teisco,and and I saw some Conqueror branded mandolins on the net. I think you got the dateline right. I found your guitar in the 1971 Conqueror catalog thats in the VintAxe collection. The price is listed at $97.50.
