Hi. I'm looking for some information. I own an old Eko 12 string guitar (in pretty poor condition). At one stage I thought it was a Ranger 12. It has many of the traditional Eko features: batwing scratch plate, zero fret, bolt on neck and an Eko label inside (but no model number discerable). However, it doesn't have a height adjustable bridge (just a fixed one), it doesn't have the traditional 3 screw plate at the base of the head, and it has no marking on the front or back of the head.
Does anyone know what this might be? Could it be an old fake, or an earlier model before the Ranger took off. I have looked at the old online Eko catalogues but can't see anything like it.
Anyone have any ideas?
