Eko 12 string acoustic guitar what is it

My wife has a store and she got in a Eko 12 string guitar. It looks like a 1973 era ranger 12 string, it has the tag inside and says its a model number 9267, if anyone has any info, or if your interested in it. let me know, thanks. Paul.

Looks to me like a navajo rather than a ranger, never seen a ranger with a trapeze tailpiece but have seen navajos with them. These guitars came in 2 styles, western shape with batwing pickguard and folk with rounder pickguard. Also post 73 rangers had a plainer rosette but with a tortoiseshell pickguard , pre 73 had a more ornate one like the one in your picture with a black pickguard. the headstock style is mid 70's. Another thing about pre 73 ekos is the poly-laquer, it's incredibly thick like a sheet of glass and is prone to cracking, post 73 the lacquer was thinner and more consistant...hope this info helps

My Eko Ranger XII has a date stamp inside it located on the Eko label that dated Feb 1971. It's original and has the trapese tailpiece which according to my 1970 Eko catalog was a option.

I had the Vox Twelve version that didn't have the tailpiece and the bridge pulled away from the top of the body. Unfortunately, there was no way to repair it.

I'm looking to convert it to the Electric version if I can find the original pickup for it.
