Looks to me like a navajo rather than a ranger, never seen a ranger with a trapeze tailpiece but have seen navajos with them. These guitars came in 2 styles, western shape with batwing pickguard and folk with rounder pickguard. Also post 73 rangers had a plainer rosette but with a tortoiseshell pickguard , pre 73 had a more ornate one like the one in your picture with a black pickguard. the headstock style is mid 70's. Another thing about pre 73 ekos is the poly-laquer, it's incredibly thick like a sheet of glass and is prone to cracking, post 73 the lacquer was thinner and more consistant...hope this info helps
