Lyle D-56 Made in Korea

Does anybody have any information on this guitar? I can not find anything on it at all.

Hi athlonwirez.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the Korean Lyle's other than they are generally considered inferior to the Matsumoku made Lyle's produced from 1969-1980. Since Lyle's are generally considered entry level instruments, price is probably considered to be more important than quality. The Japanese instruments being imported by L.D. Heater of Portland OR. must have gotten too pricey and they switched to a Korean supplier.

Thanks for the reply. It's quality seems great to me. It looks a lot like a Gibson Dove replica. I was just wondering if I could find out the year it was produced, etc. Thanks for the input!
