don't know much about acoustics, but Ian Bishop writes (in the Gibson Guitar)
certain cheaper flatops such as the LG0 LG1 and some J45s have the model number stamped directly under the sound hole on the back of the guitar and the setial number stamped on the block of wood re-inforcing the neck-joint inside the body.
do you have any markings like these.
He goes on to say that only flat tops made from the 60s onwards have the sn on the back of the headstock
