Sho-Bud Diamond made in Japan

I just bought a Sho-Bud Diamond on eBay and I absolutely love it. It is a Martin dreadnought copy with cool playing-card themed inlays in the neck. I can find other people who appreciate these guitars, but no info on where they were made. I think it is from the late 1970's. Anyone else have one?
