Hi guys. I'm new to the forum. I play electrics, but recently purchased this old guitar from a thrift shop for $5. It needs tuning heads, which are on order, and a set of strings, which I purchased from GC.
I know that it's a Classical, but it could also be a Flamenco. I'm researching that, so I know what the differences are.
About the guitar. Well, there's a tag in the sound hole that reads
G E M
Model no. 10390
Made in Korea
The construction doesn't seem to be that of a budget guitar. Also, The wood doesn't seem to be ply either. So, now this baby's got my curiosity peaked. Have any of you heard of this name, or familiar with this guitar in any way? Replies would be much appreciated! Thanks
Phil
