Hi all!

Long time no see!!

I was wondering if anyone might have any information or literature about Jackson-Guldan made guitars.

I know the basics on the company... fairly well-made student-grade guitars... violin manufacturer from Columbus OH tries to float the company by breaking into the burgeoning late 50's guitar market... Cashed out by the mid 60s... Primary labels include Chris (Adjusto), Jay G, Dart, Hootenanny, Blue Suede, etc...

...but man, I'd love to know more about the company... who they sold to... find a catalog or two... any kind of literature at all on them.

As anyone on here will remember about me, I've quite a fondness for oddball guitars... and I have to say I really curbed my G.A.S. for a good few years... but man am I back with vigor, having fallen hard for Jackson-Guldan-made guitars.

Any help, any insight, would be immensely appreciated.

Many thanks!

Michael
