Thanks, yea that takes me about to where I was. Rex became Gretsch they made this and that. I found a picture of a restored mandolin and an electric Arch top from the 30's Branded as a Rex. Very similar to what Gretsch became so famous for. I found what looked like a 3/4 that needed a restoration. Thats it. This one was in pieces, fret board, neck and body with no bridge. I re assembled it with little work other than making a bridge from a piece of mahogany and a bone saddle. I glued the body where the front and rear had separated and reset the neck to make it playable. No truss rod so it's either right or an ornament. A set of Elixers to finish it off and what a sound for a little body. Anyway, I'd like to know more about it. Thanks agian. Steve
Turn it down! Man I'm old.
