VINTAGE 1961 GIBSON LES PAUL JUNIOR

This is a great playing double cut junior with a well done neck reset. In fact, the neck is stronger than before and the playing is better. All frets play great, clear and sharp!

What makes this junior so unique and rare - It is one of the last slab bodies made in 1961, just before Gibson switched to the SG body style, and the serial number, 124, (very low) is impressed, 3 digits only, with the leading digit being a 1 (1961 was the first year Gibson impressed its serial numbers versus inking them).
