Great Condition Vox Spitfire MkIV, UK Version so it is the tear drop shape. Tobacco Sunburst. Dates from around early/mid 1967, one of the later ones. Three pickups, lots of chrome hardware. Straight neck, good condition frets for a 45 year old guitar. I have cleaned, polished and setup the guitar and apart from a couple of 'dings' the finish is great. With the new setup it plays fantastically too with a good straight neck and pretty low action. You can find photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/16258143@N ... 248623199/
When I received the guitar it wasn't working - it had some "aftermarket electronics" fitted which had gone faulty but after removing these the guitar works perfectly and sounds exactly has it should; clean & sparkly! Unfortunately, the installer put in two switches and another control and I can't remove them without leaving three nasty holes. Thankfully the switches are quite period and not too much of an eye-sore. Also, the original logo from the headstock is not there - if you look close on one of the photos you can just about make parts of it out. The guitar comes with an original budget Vox hard case.
I'm really keen that the guitar goes to a good home and I’m looking for offers in the region of £650 - £700
