BEWARE OF BUYING " VINTAGE GUITARS" fom CHINA!
I thought I was buying a vintage 63 Supro Dualtone from one of those wholesell distributors at a very low price. What I got about 2 weeks later was a cheap Strat copy, worth only a tenth of the Supro! I tried contacting everyone involved, sent photos, and even found the picture of the real Supro that had been sold on EBAY. In China they never admitted to a mistake much less a con job! The best I ended up with was a partial refund and I kept the cheap one. This was a classic BAIT AND SWITCH!
Yes, I know I was stupid, but I'm moving on. I just wanted to alert guitar buyers of this. Oh yeah- they are still trying to sell the Supro "PICTURE"

Some of the Chinese guitars are easy to spot as fakes, bodies aren't shaped quite right, parts have been substituted, or some use an actual picture of the
real thing. Some people may not be able to tell the difference. They're very nice to a point, but it ain't right. You have to wonder to, when the major US companies have their 2nd string line being made in Asia where will it all end?
