I'm Patrick. I came to this site because I love vintage guitars of all sorts, and I collect and play them all the time.
I feel a little weird in the vintage guitar community considering I'm only 16. Most of the people I know that are into this stuff are married and have families, lol.

Welcome to the Forum Patrick. The future of the vintage guitar market depends on people in your age group becoming interested in old guitars. Of course, it is unlikely you'll covet the same guitars as someone in their 50's, but the fact you appreciate the instruments played by your favorite guitar players will assure the ongoing health of the vintage guitar market. sb

Ah yes, I remember being 16 ( just) I bought an Audition electric guitar from woolworths for £14.00 brand new - look what they go for today!! - little tip for you Patrick, buy some new, terrible guitars and keep them in a loft till you are 50 then make a fortune on ebay haha welcome aboard

Hah. thanks for the warm welcome you guys. I've been pretty steeped into the vintage market for a few years now because I've involved heavily in local band and such. I find I play less with my peers and more with people that grew up in the 60's and 70's and that I relate more musically with those people than my peers. It's kind of weird.
