Collector and player in that order, not a pro, just a guy that can't refuse a beautifully finished guitar. If I could, I would eat some of those PRS finishes, lots of nice finish work coming from almost every manufacturer now though.
Crestline, Crestwood, Hondo, Harmony, Teisco, Univox are some of the oddballs I love to own and play, but almost anything made in the 60s or 70s really attracts my attention.
I am toying with the idea of building a few of my own from scratch, have found some nice wood dealer/sources that have nice stock that I could make a Jag or Airline replica from. Something simple to start with, am sure I would buy a pre-made neck, can't imagine how much work that would take to make that from scratch.
Am always interested in seeing other oddball gits that you guys find, and again, thanks for putting this site up. I have had a few sites and they aren't always easy to keep up and running. Thanks!
