Here's some that I found for sale,close to yours in age. Asking prices vary,but you can get an idea of an average price, about $1900 going by the ones listed below.

The alterations done to that guitar definately devalue it. Anytime you alter a guitar like that in a way that can't be put back to original condition, as is the case with drilling the holes in the body, and not having the original tailpiece and bridge on it, it's devalued. As to how much, I couldn't say. You would need to get a proffesional appraisal to get a realistic value put on the guitar in it's present condition. What is the asking price for this one?

That does sound like a good price finnedpilot as long as you are at peace with the modifications.

According to the Blue Book, a Starfire IV in Excellent condition is valued at $1,750 and in VG+ condition $1,500.

I don't know if there is a good rule of thumb for how modifications influence value. The fellas in the VG Price Guide suggest modifications/repairs influence their values from 5% to 50% depending on how extensive they are.

I think drilling holes and installing that trem would be considered pretty extensive so at a 50% reduction in value, your price looks about right.

I agree with VintAxe. If you don't mind the mods and just consider the value of the guitar for what it is, $800 seems like a reasonable price to me.
