Hello to all, i'm new to the forum and i have a question that hopefully someone of you will help me with.
I am in the process of acquiring a 63 strat and have been studying all the details of this guitar. One of the characteristics of these guitars is the presence of two clamping holes under the pickguard and one under the jack pocket. I understand however that this last hole (under the jackpocket) was abandoned sometime in 63; does anyone have any further details on this?
The guitar that i am looking at has everything in the right place except the clamping hole under the jack so you can imagine how inetretsed i am in finding out as much as possible about this tiny nail hole...
Thanks
