Fender Strat experts please?

Not a Vintage query but I thought this place might get me the quickest answers
Just had a quick look at a USA fender Strat, White, Maple neck..in my local pawnbrokers with what I think is a rather low price on it(£350 with Fender hardcase)..didn't have time to grab the serial number but I wonder if anyone can tell me anything when I say that on the front of the headstock it just says Fender Stratocaster, the serial number is on the back of the headstock at the end and the neck plate says Fender Corona..does this detail give any clue to what model it might be?
cheers..gonna grab the serial number or the guitar in the morning if it's still there...I think

Get the serial number. Send an email to Fender with the serial number at the link below. Ask them as to what model and year it is. They are very good about furnishing the info.

Cheers...common sense has got to me and I'll check out the serial number and wait to see if it's still available on Monday...I don't really need another Strat..the guys in the shop told me they have a bunch of other guitars they're putting out this weekend that were pawned and not claimed so I'll see what else they have before spending
