Gibson 1938 FDH Guitar

Can anyone provide me with information on my Gibson FDH Guitar. It has a 16" x 4" body, Gold Grover Tuners, and Truss Rod, Chequerboard Binding around body and pickguard and unique fret markings which I have not seen on any other Gibson Guitar. My Guitar was made in 1938. I know that Steve Howe has a similar one but his no longer has the original fret markings, as he has had it reworked at the Gibson factory. Also does anyone have an email or contact address for Steve Howe. Does anyone know how many of these models was made as Steve Howe refers to his guitar as "incredibly rare". Any information would be greatly appreciated.

are you referring (FDH) to Francis Day and Hunter? Gibsons UK distributors 1932-1939?
