Appears in none of the Vintaxe online catalogs... Headstock is definitely 50's Kay... but look at those pups!! NEVER seen those before on a Kay...

...damn,. if its a custom, it looks REALLY well made!!

I don't know what those pickups are, but I bet they're single coils, not mini-humbuckers. Kinda like the Epiphone New Yorker pickups with non-center pole pieces.

I found it under the "Airline" catogory, in the 1961 Montgomery Wards catalog, #21. Looks stock to me.
