chunky necks

My '58 Supro Belmont has a very chunky V-shaped neck. It's very comfortable.

Probably my two favorite necks... I've got a late 50's Kay Speed Demon, pre-adjustable truss rod period... and a First National Institute for Allied Arts student acoustic with probably the deepest "V" I've ever played.

For what its worth, my Silvertone 1413L has a pretty damned beefy neck for a student-grade guitar... one of my staples as well!

I have always played fairly small neck (C shaped) guitars ... but would like to pick up a fairly inexpensive fat-neck guitar to see if it would be better for my gigantic hands (maybe that's an overstatement .. but XL glove size).

Any recommendations?
