although this particular guitar may not fall into everyone's opinion of Vintage, it is an American-made classic .......I'm looking to find a way of dating this guitar: it is serial numbered engraved F 8369 on the neck plate ....anybody know ?? can anybody point in the direction of who would know ?? neck plate also says Kramer Neptune NJ USA ......thanks guys !!

Hey Undle Freddy.
According to the Vintage Kramer website, the serial number indicates a guitar made from 1987 to late 1989. They state these guitars were built using ESP bodies and necks. You can check the serial number here:
