Well, the refinish job has started. On a closer look, and more so when I started to take things apart, the guitar was originaly a natural finish as pictured above. The refinishing that was previously done is terrible. Pickup mounting rings were all cracked/broken and poorly repaired. The plastic also looks like it was painted with a laquer based paint that crazed the plastic. I have already glued these properly with a solvent cement and began sanding them down and will repaint. Sanding of the top is going well. I will post pics when I can.
There's no such thing as too many guitars
