Scott Freilich from Top Shelf Music and I were just discussing the guitar prices he had seen at the Orlando Guitar Show a few of weeks ago. One of the guitars he mentioned was a Dynacord Cora in Gold and Red that he had seen. He brought it up since it was a guitar he hadn't seen for sale in years.

I emailed him for dealer information after seeing your post but he didn't have contact information on the fella offering it for sale. However, he did recall the asking price: $10,000. Yikes! They've gone up a bit since I bought mine.

I'm not saying this guy will get 10K but the fact that he's asking 10K suggests you need to be ready to part with some treasure if you want one.

Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty sure I bought my Red one from Top Shelf about 15 years ago! I used to take my Black one to Texas shows (hung behind booth to attract attention). He came by, and of course...I had to have the Red one! I paid him 10 times what the Blk one cost me (it was VERY reasonable, purchased in about '85).
Perhaps in the future they will need a new home, but for now I'll keep 'em with me.
