I've got a '64 Burns Vista Sonic here that I'm slowly getting back to original spec.
Current conundrum- what sort of cap was wired across the switch to get the 'wild dog' sound. Anyone know? I've got a circuit diagram that describes the colours in order as
silver, gold, black red black, with the body being brown.
Sorta sounds like a resistor to me, but it says it's a capacitor on the hand drawn circuit I've got...
Aside from that. I'm confused about the bridge. Is has a floating cradle that's mounted on a roller, so when the trem is pushed down, that cradle (which has the saddles on it) moves forward.
Any ideas as to what position this is supposed to be set to? All the photos I can find show the cradle as far forward as it can go, which seems to defeat the object of having the rollers in the first place.
Any ideas?
