also one i don't know the name of it's a jaguar copy swapped it for a fairly new samick LP copy, great swap imho.

This is a Klira Star Club produced in the late 1960's. A version very similar to your example is pictured in the 1966 Klira catalog I have in the Catalog Section. sb

another klira recently was given to me(Yes for free ) someone told me that it's a haiti deluxe, but can't find anything about it anywhere.
and now recently i purchased a similar guitar with the name ambassador on it and 8 string , i'm still waiting to get it to my by mail. (for 100 euro including sending)

Your source is correct wietse, it is a Haiti de Luxe. The model is 543 and they were produced around 1965. This instrument is basically the plastic covered version of the Bahama de Luxe (model 333).

this one is not plastic covered, looks like it but is not, the finish is severely cracked.



wil do so when the ambassador arrives that one has a antigua burst like finish.

the bahama deluxe is on fetishguitars a jaguar model with 3 schaller pu's.

Yeah, I don't think the authors of Elektro-Gitarren literally meant "plastic covered". The original German term they used was "kunststoffuberzug" which my translator interprets as "plastic coating". It is likely they are referring to an epoxy or resin coating. Judging from the picture, we are talking about the same instrument. sb
