A small Hagstrom collection

I came across a few pics of my Swedish Hagstroms. Thought I would post one.
From the left: 1974 Swede, 1983 SuperSwede, 1973 Viking 1N, 1974 Viking 1N (with rarer bound F holes), 1977 D'Aquisto Oval hole, 1977 D'Aquisto S-hole, '06 HJ-600 (ok, that one's a Chinese reissue), early '70s H-45e acoustic.


Since I took that picture I've acquired the tri-color tobacco burst Superswede on the right. Also from 1983.

That is a beautiful collection, park!! Those headstock overlays with the classic Hagstrom tuning buttons - yeah!

I've always wanted to test drive a Swede but I've never come across one in the flesh

A friend has an H-77 acoustic that looks just like your H-45e. Neck is still arrow straight and action is super low - a real pleasure to play (though not real loud).

Thanks, Park. I don't see many Hagstroms and yours are beauties. I'd love to play a few just for the sake of comparison to USA Gibsons.

Thanks for the comments. I've added one more to the vintage Hagstrom collection. It is a '78 D'Aquisto Oval in sunburst. I already have the natural finish Oval shown above, but they come up for auction so rarely that I had to jump on it. It is in nearly flawless condition, just beautiful. The sunburst finish is fairly rare on an already rare guitar (only 365 made).
