Goya Rangemaster (solid body) electrical question !help!

I just got this Rangemaster and I am trying to figure out where to connect the ground wire (black wire with tape on it) coming from the bridge? Does it connect to the volume pot? Any information would help, thanks!

This just connects to the output jack ground - it grounds the strings through the bridge, reducing hum.
