Help me identify An acoustic guitar called Pan

Hi I'm in need of information on an acoustic 6 string guitar made by Pan - serial #: 73110047 model C 002. Made in Korea. I can't seem to find much info on these types of guitars. I got it as gift and know nothing about its history, year it was made or how much it might be worth etc. if anyone can assist me with info I'd forever be grateful. Thank you for your time. Hi Jazz007. I don't know anything specific about your guitar, but I may be able to help a little. Pan didn't build guitars. Pan is a brand name used by the Canadian distributor Turner Musical Instruments. In the late 1960's, the Pan brand name was used on Japanese guitars built by Matsumoku and distributed by Turner. In the 70's, Tuner began buying their guitars from Korea. My hunch is that your guitar was probably imported in the 1970's but I really do not know for sure. If it is a 70's guitar, it was likely built by either Samick or Cort since they were the two largest guitar builders in Korea at the time.

As a Korean built Classical guitar it is not worth much money, but, as a gift, it is really nice.

FYI the guitar plays really nice, tunes perfectly considering it's from the 70's has a great sound and I plan to keep it forever.
