Just a quick note that my post from yesterday in this forum was moved to the 'WHAT'S NEW' area. Vox guys will find it especially interesting!

For your perusal, this is a 1964 Crucianelli made VOX LYNX.

This is a first generation model that would undergo many changes until production ceased in approx 1972.
(from the FetishGuitars site)
The very first guitars in this range have a lot in common with the early Crucianelli florentines (i.e. Vox Challenger) : narrow headstock, batwing pickguard. Six slits on pickup covers. Tremolo --if any-- actuated with a very long bar, extending all the way from the body bottom. Then the headstock widens into a more familiar shape, and little later the pickguard takes its definitive rounded-off GIbsom style shape, while control knobs switch from plastic to aluminium. Machineheads with white plastic buttons. Most of those first generation guitars wear the Vox logo, a few ones Tonemaster or Élite. (1964-65)
