hi, i'm new here, and have a question. i'm rebuilding a univox effie 12 string. on the bottom, above the tailpiece mounting screws,is a fourth hole, at a severe angle. the parts guitar i bought has the same hole. does any1 know what it's for?

without pictures its a guessing game. im guessing its the hole for the bridge/tailpiece ground. if it goes into the electronic compartment, thats what it is.

thanx, this is the first project i'm doing, and ur probably right.( it makes sense when i see it ) i'm also working on a 12 string framus strato, that i've had for 40 years or so. i'm sure i'll be back w more questions for those who know more than i. again, thanx
