Keep in mind this is a learner project, it's always best to start on something cheap in my opinion:
Looked for the original bridge on ebay for months. They always would sell for more than the value of this guitar. I bought one of the bridges another member here said would work on ebay. I mounted it it a little off center and didin't think to center it with the strings. Here's a pic of it now with the new bridge centered by the strings:
It's got a cool fake rosewood pickguard that I'm polishing up and I'm working on the electronics today. I bought some new 6 on a a strip tuners for it as well, unfortunatley they were not spaced correctly. I was able to pull the pegs/gears/and knobs off an install them to the original tuner strip though.
