Aria looking like a Rickenbacker

Hello,

First of all sorry for my English I'm French, I just bought an Aria, looking like a rickenbacker with two P90 pickups, black and white withe the neck varnished and the touch two!!!! Each mark on the neck is in gold "mother-of-pearl". Furthermore the guitar is quite short, the neck is 22 inches longer (4 inches less than a strat!!!). Will post some pics later.

The serail number is 068001 and it's from Japan, would know its age.

Does your bass look like this other than the color? If so, it is a 1977 Aria Rickenbacker copy. sb

OOps, your right jedistar, he must be talking about a guitar.

I didn't read the original post carefully enough, the reference to a short neck surely indicates guitar. thanks for picking that up. sb

Can't find anything on guitars though for Aria - suspect its a bit like the one the Byrds used like a pointy ended 335.

except that mine only got two pickups and a shape nearer to the rickenbacker 360. Will post I promize... Lol.

Looking like the photo I posted, but it had only two pickups, and the shape of the guitar is nearer from the rick' than on the photo, rounder than it. And, also would know its real value... Please...
