I Damaged My 1981 Greco Judas priest SG - Help

I put a small dig in the finish of a black Greco 1981 Mint Collection, Judas Priest SG (JP-55). I have pics and am looking for advice on how to make it go away. Specifically, is it a poly finish or did Greco ever use Nitro on any of their best guitars? If it's poly I guess I have problems. Any help or point in the right direction appreciated. Thanks.

I checked Greco catalogs from the early 80's but since virtually all the text is Japanese I can't tell what finish they used.

You are right, the finish is most likely Poly. Of course, Poly will be a thicker finish than Nitro so you can generally tell just by looking. If the finish thickness isn't obvious to you, try unscrewing a strap button so you can get a better feel for the thickness of the finish compared to the raw wood surface.

Thank you, I found a local guy who is going to take care of it...2 music shops recommended me to him and he knows all about poly. It's only gonna be $30 too I guess because it's very small, so I'm happy. It was also great to get support in a place like this. Rock on.
