This has the Teisco headstock/ pickguard, and the "Japan" neck plate, so I assume thats what it is. What I have not seen before is this pickup. It sounds really good! I was shocked. It's almost like a mini soapbar. Anyone ever seen one?

Thx
Justin

A most interesting hybrid Justin.

To me, the tailpiece, bridge, knobs and pickguard look circa 1963-64 Kawai. The truss rod adjustment looks Teisco.

I've never seen the pickups.

Any chance of having a look at the headstock and tuners?

Thanks for the reply. I bought it for my friends music store. He made the thing look really sweet. I still cant believe the sound. The headstock and tuners were identical to the Beetone I owned, except the tuner keys are a yellow plastic. Also the neck on this one has thin block inlays...weird

heres the pic of that beetone
