What is this?

I'm new to the forum so... hello everybody

I've had this guitar for a while. Can anyone tell me what it is?
I can't find any serial number or brand name. The only info I can find is the word "japan" on the neck plate.

nice!!
looks to me a kawai or a teisco but can't find a teisco with those pu's and that controlplate, so most likely a kawai made guitar.
the pickups were quite common used by kawai and haven't seen any other hollowbody with those controlpanels except from kawai or teisco.
the tuners are these original?
i personally doubt that.
any possible name is possible with kawai guitars a lot of those were unbranded.

I don't know about the tuners, but I do think it's a bit odd that two of the tuners differ from the other four.
