hey folks , i have a fernandes strat and could use some help in figuring out the date of manufacture. it is made in japan with all gold hardware and is very good quality. is there any hidden numbers or codes that would help nail down the date? thanks in advance... easy number.

According to Mike at Guitars Japan most older Fernandes guitars did not have serial numbers. He offers a general guide to dating these instruments based on the shape of the truss rod covers.
