Made in Japan Norma - looking for details

I recently bought this Norma guitar - the seller didn't have any details excpet to suspect it's from the 1960's.

Obviouly, the bottom guitar in the second photo.

I took it a part - could not find any model numbers anywhere.

Anyone know what it is besides a Norma?

Also - wiring was wacky - the hot side of the pickups was wired (thru switches and pots) to the ground side of the output jack.....and guitar didn't work.
I rewired everything - including changing it so the hot went to the output "tip".
Still didn't work - until I realized the output jack hot was toucjing the shield paint in the body cavity. After some scraping, I think i got it to work.

The pickups and general construction suggests to me that your guitar was built by Kawai. Norma was the brand name used by Strum and Drum of Chicago on their Japanese import guitars.

Your guitar is model EG 400-2 and appears in the 1968 Strum and Drum catalog.
