Yet another "What is it"

First off, hello to everybody! I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me identify my guitar. I emailed a few pics to a guy named Mike Robinson at myrareguitars.com. He had a picture of a tempo on his 70's page that looked pretty close to mine. The only differences were the pickups and mine has a tremolo arm. Can someone provide a little more info please? Maybe a website or two where I could do research on Tempo Guitars? Thanks in advance!!

Tempo was a brandname used by the distributer Merson. Merson/Unicord is best known for distributing guitars under the Univox brandname. There is a short company history of Merson/Unicord over at Tim Patton's Univox website:



As far as your guitar is concerned, it was made by Aria in the late 60's or early 70's. I'm not sure of the exact model, but it is certainly a cousin of my 1832T.



Your guitar has a more offset waist, but they are definately from the same era. sb

It's an Aria Diamond 1832T, alright - but what's strange is that Vintaxe's 1832T looks a bit different to the one in the Matsumoku.org catalogue scan:

Skaterguy's, on the other hand, is identical, apart from the colour & the pickups.
