Anybody know the model # of this Guyatone? I got outbid a while back on this one and would like to try to sniff out another...

Love that maple (veneer) flame! Anyone ever come across one of these?

Hey Bob,

Looks like you missed out on a Guyatone LG-40 B from the late 1950's. Here is a picture of the guitar that appears in Bizarre Guitars of the 60's



Interestingly, Guyatone wasn't the only company using flamed veneer. Check out this Teisco J-5 from the same era:

One of those Teiscos was just on ebay. I didn't track it to the end but it was bringing some big cash.
