Hi all,

Anybody know the model # of this Guyatone? I got outbid a while back on this one and would like to try to sniff out another... :D

Love that maple (veneer) flame! Anyone ever come across one of these?

Hey Bob,

Looks like you missed out on a Guyatone LG-40 B from the late 1950's. Here is a picture of the guitar that appears in Bizarre Guitars of the 60's

Interestingly, Guyatone wasn't the only company using flamed veneer. Check out this Teisco J-5 from the same era:

Thanks Steve - I've got to get "Bizarre Guitars".

One of those Teiscos was just on ebay. I didn't track it to the end but it was bringing some big cash.
