What guitar is this?

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know, what is the guitar on the far left in the VintAxe.com banner ( http://www.vintaxe.com/vintaxe.jpg )?

I saw an authentic one for sale on eBay in America a while ago for somewhere around $3000 but forgot what it is.

Is there a re-issue or copy made of this guitar by another company?

Hi Justin,

The guitar is a Teisco Spectrum 5 from around 1966. You can see a better picture and a description in the Guitar Gallery:



There is a recent reissue if the Spectrum 5 built by Kawai in Japan but I don't think they have been aggressively exported.
