I borrowed this photo from a VintAxe post to someones question but I cannot believe what I am seeing. A few years ago I acquired a guitar from my dad who bought it around 1970 for about $25 at a garage sale. I have no real knowledge on the guitar and everyone tells me that it doesn't even have the original finish on it but, it looks IDENTICAL to this one. I am just trying to come up with some info so appease my curiosity. I have been told everything form it is a pile of crap to it being worth a great deal of money. It isn't forsale but I wold like to know any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Kingston 2 pickup, not sure of the model. May be a refin or may not. My first electric was basically the same guitar. it was good guitar to cut my teeth on. Mne was a sunburst, plywood body, same guard, pickups and pot metal control cover. trem is even the same. They sell for about $200 in pristine condition. Those pickups are popular as well, not quite as expressive as the Teisco Foils but good sounding anyway. From what i have seen, they were manufactured by Kawai and sold under several different brand names. cruzerjd
