Telestar electric 12 string info?

So I have this late 60's Telestar. Pretty sure it was Japanese made. Does anyone have any more info on it? How much it may be worth? Any history/reviews out there? I found info on other Telestar's but not this 12-string.

Hi Kydd.

As you have suggested, your 12 string was built in the late 1960's by Kawai. It is modeled after a Burns Bison although the headstock shape is pure Japanese. Turns out your guitar is pictured in the book Bizarre Guitars of the 60's but the description is in Japanese so not of much help to me.

I don't know what it is worth, maybe someone else has shopped for a guitar like this recently.

I'm bumping this to see if anyone has any more info on this guitar. Is there a model number? From what I understand, there were only about but I can't seem to find ANY reference to a 12-string.

It appears that some where between 1965-1967. I see many people try to group it with Teisco but from that last link, Teisco was apparently run as a separate company and about the TeleStar company and of other TeleStars but not a 12 string.

Any further info is greatly appreciated!
