Kingston guitar?

hi, my neighbor gave a guitar and I want to get info about it....the truss rod cover says "kingston" but it didnt fit well so I dont know anything about it...

It's a Kawai made guitar. I'll see if I can find a picture a similar model.

Bingo! Here you go.Here's an old thread that popped up when I Google'd for images of "Kingston guitar" instead of "Kawai guitar".Shows one just like your's,except it's a two pickup version. Kawai built, Kingston branded, 1967,so yours is most likely from around the same time period.Scroll down.
