Athena?

Have any of you heard of Athena? I have an old SG style Japanese guitar that had no sticker on the headstock when I got it but if I hold it in the right light I can read what appears to be Athena. It has 2 P90 style pickups and a fabulous bound neck although the body is thin. I've seen a Pan that looks very similar.

That faded signature on the pickguard is from Eric Lindell. He played it at our local bluesfest. The Bigsby isn't original equipment but added in the basic era of the guitar, and one of the reasons why I bought the guitar in the first place. I mean, how could I go wrong paying $150.00 for a guitar with and old Bigsby trem? It turned out to be a great player that has also been played and loved by Kenny Neal.

I too have an Athena electric. Not as tricked out as yours but VERY similar. It is the only thing I have that belonged to my father, who passed when I was very young. I'm a novice guitar player, and I've done a TON of research on the Web to try and find some info on the guitar & can't find a thing! It is an Athena circa 1970 something with a serial number on the back. I CHERISH this guitar & if anyone has any info, I'd be especially appreciative!
