Hello Everyone, help with an Ibanez ID

Hello everyone. I've just joined and I need some help to identify a old Ibanez Guitar. My Dad bought it years ago and its been lying idle in a case for ages.
I cant find any serial numbers or model numbers on it anywhere.

Any help from ye would be great.

Hi jonners.

I don't know the model of your guitar, but I can tell you the 3 and 4 pickup version of this instrument appear in a 1962 Ibanez catalog.

I found a few examples of it on the net. It's a model 882, made in 1962 and 1963.Three pickup model is 883,four pickup is 884.

Do ye think this Guitar is worth getting restored to its former glory??

I dont play, but would like to have it restored as it has sentimental value for me.

yes, it is worth it. i know a few ibanez guys that would gladly take it off your hands. that little metal logo adds much value to them. same guitar with another brand on it is worth half. also, it has all the parts still there, thats huge. usually those pickguards shrink over time, crack and pull out the screws. a good cleaning is probably all it needs.
